She is a PhD student and a lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Haifa. Her main research interests include international boundaries and geopolitics of the Middle East, focusing on the Arab Gulf Countries. Moran’s dissertation deals with the significance of boundaries in the history of the Arab World. Moran is also a research fellow at the Forum for Regional Thinking and a policy fellow at Mitvim - The Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies. Samuel comes from Finland where he did his Master of Science degree in Economics. He is currently working on his PhD project at the Department of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies, the University of Haifa.
