The Cyrus Cylinder Tour of the United States, an initiative by Iran Heritage Foundation, began at the Freer|Sackler Galleries on 9th March. As part of this historic tour, the Freer|Sackler Galleries have organised The Legacy of Cyrus the Great: Iran and Beyond featuring presentations by some of the world's leading scholars in Iranian studies.
The programme starts with an evening lecture by John Curtis, Keeper of Special Middle East Projects at the British Museum which is free to all and requires no registration. Further information can be found on the following links: overview, abstracts or biographies.
