  The Ninth Annual Conference for Persian Gulf Studies in Israel: "Iran and Saudi Arabia – An Interdisciplinary View" The conference dealt with the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and their influence over the Middle East. The conference's lectures use different perspectives for understanding these complex relations, mainly how each of those two countries is perceived by the society of the other country. In addition, the conference looked into the impact of the Iranian-Saudi relations on other scenes in the Middle East, such as the split inside the Palestinian society, as well as on a number of diverse social, economic and other issues.    The Ezri Center for Iran & Persian Gulf Studies hosted the Sixth Annual Israeli Persian Gulf Studies Conference on "Between the Center and the Periphery: The Persian Gulf States in the Middle Eastern Arena in the 21st Century" The Conference took place on Monday, May 12th, 2013 at the Library Auditorium (Room 146), the New Wing of the Library, University of Haifa.
